Egytrans has established an agency network in Egypt in association with Wihl. Wilhemsen of Oslo, Norway....one of the world's largest international shipping and ship agency networks. Through this association, Barwil Egytrans can offer clients the benefit of the Barwil international agency expertise, local Egytrans knowledge and good political and commercial links in all areas of the industry in addition to the infrastructure necessary to provide ship agency services in Egypt. Barwil Egytrans services are provided at all Egyptian ports and for Suez Canal transits. The company works on behalf of ship owners, operators and charters to provide an efficient interface between our principals and the Suez Canal Authority, Port Authorities, terminal operators, services providers and shippers /receivers in Egypt. Barwil Egytrans operates from 5 offices in Egypt with an experienced local staff and expatriate management.
E.T.A.L. (Egyptian Transportation and Logistics, SAE) Egyptian Transportation & Logistics was established in Cairo in 1984 by a group of companies and local businessmen experienced in the transport industry. The establishment of this unique company stemmed from the demand born out of the vast infrastructure expansions that Egypt experienced in the 1980's. This expansion required the transport of cargo of exceptional weight and dimensions that only ETAL's experience and expertise could undertake. ETAL was the only company that could cater to hauling such heavy and oversized cargo for power plants, transformer sub stations, steel and cement mills, water and waste water plants and the petroleum industry. In keeping with the ongoing tradition of quality service, ETAL is currently implementing a quality system in accordance with ISO 9002 in preparation for certification. In addition to its own qualified technical team and over 20 years experience in heavy lift transportation, ETAL cooperates closely with engineering consultants in the U.K. and Egypt with extensive experience in the Middle East to provide quality engineering.
ScanArabia ScanArabia was originally established as a shipping agency specializing in serving liner principals that require unique demands. Like Barwil, ScanArabia provides a full network of ship agency services in Egypt at all Egyptian ports.
